The great bulk of the northern
hordes of Chaos is made up of tribes of vicious,
dedicated Marauders. These barbaric men live on
the boundaries of the Realms of Chaos, upon the
wide steppes and barren wilderness regions known
as the Chaos Wastes. The nomadic tribes war with
each other constantly for the pleasure of their
gods, for slaves, and for glory and frequently
raid the lands of other nations. From amongst
the ranks of Marauders come some of the most deadly
fighters in the world; the fearsomely armed and
armoured Warriors and Knights of Chaos. Often
gifted with unnatural strength and toughness by
their gods, these fighters are feared the world
over.
The most important followers of Chaos are Champions
of Chaos — warriors chosen by the Chaos
gods as their greatest servants.
The most powerful Champions bind to their army
regiments of Daemonic warriors, but such bargains
should not be pondered. |
