attle
for Skull Pass walks you through all the steps that make up
a game of Warhammer. Each side
alternates taking their turn: first, one player moves, shoots, and
fights with his army. Then, the other player does
the same with his army. Back and forth you go until one player achieves
victory and is declared the winner. Here's a description of the
three phases of each player's turn. |
t
the Movement phase stage of the game, you move your models around
the battlefield, or even into combat with your enemies. Manoeuvring
your
units around the battlefield is a vital part of the
game.
n
the Shooting phase, any units that are allowed can fire missile
weapons, such as bows or handguns. Ranged attacks like these
help you soften up the enemy for your final hand-to-hand assault.
n
the Close Combat phase, units in contact with each other battle
it out in the hack-and-slash of personal combat. If the slaughter
is great, the victors can induce the losers to run away — maybe
even right off the table!
